Roman Harper signs with Saints

STAFF REPORTS (WCCB Charlotte) — Roman Harper is heading back to where his career started.

According to Harper’s agent on Twitter, the former Panther safety will sign with the New Orleans Saints.

 

Harper was drafted by the Saints in the second round of the 2006 draft. He played his first eight NFL seasons in New Orleans, winning the Super Bowl in the 2009 season.

Harper, 33, spent the last two years with Carolina starting all 32-games. He had a career high four interceptions in 2014 but came up empty in 2015.
