Overnight Break-In at Animal Shelter

Charlotte N.C.– Last night, the Catawba County Humane Society, was broken into leaving behind extreme damage, stolen cash from donations jars out front, and a slew of terrified animals. There is no word yet as to who or how many people broke into the animal shelter. However, what is clear is that they managed to break through the double paned windows in order to enter the facility. Along with the stolen cash, narcotic related supplies from the facilities Hope Clinic were also stolen. Currently, the shelter is asking for any donations, no matter how large, in order to help them continue their work, as the facility now has to use much of their limited funds to deal with repairs instead of caring for homeless animals.
