SALISBURY, NC– Authorities say on Tuesday they arrested a Veterans Administration Police Officer for growing marijuana in the woods.
Rowan County Sherriff’s say they issued a warrant for Thomas Daniel Gaskins, 33, that alleged Gaskins grew eleven marijuana plants in a wooded area, using water from a town fire hydrant.
After a Gaskins consented to a search of his residence police say they found a small quantity of marijuana and evidence that a closet had been used as a grow room.
Gaskins was charged with felony manufacturing marijuana and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
