Sources say the case against Corey Lewandowski has been building for weeks, and involved input from the Trump family. They claim his daughter, Ivanka, her husband and campaign adviser Jared Kushner, along with Trump’s sons pleaded with the presidential candidate to fire him.

There’s reports they were upset over several issues….Including Lewandowski’s handling of Michelle Fields. She’s the reporter he grabbed on video, leading to charges that were later dropped.

Others claim the final straw were rumors that he attempted to plant negative stories in the press about Jared Kushner. Trump wouldn’t address those rumors tonight.

Was firing his campaign manager strategy or damage control?
