CHARLOTTE, NC — The 17th annual Dine Out For Kids event is happening Tuesday, June 21, and will give restaurants and restaurant goers in the community the opportunity to make a difference in local schools and students in need of financial assistance.
The event is put on by Communities In Schools of Charlotte-Mecklenburg and will have 88 restaurant locations participating tomorrow.
The Community Relations Director with CIS, May Johnston, says, “This is such a an easy way for anyone in the community to support the students and schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg who need us most.”
All you have to do is visit one of the participating location and that restaurant will donate a portion of the day’s sales to CIS.
