Mark Price on Cleveland Title: “There’s a new shot in town”

CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — Charlotte 49ers hoops coach Mark Price, a former Cavalier of nine seasons, is happy for the city of Cleveland on its NBA title.

He’s also thrilled his former teammate, Craig Ehlo, is off the hook for an iconic moment of defeat in Cavaliers history. So much in fact, that he called Ehlo late Sunday night to congratulate each o

“I had to call Craig,” Price said holding back laughter. “Your shot will not get shown anymore. There’s a new shot in town! Kyrie (Irving) over Steph (Curry).”

While Price was certainly joking and excited for the Cavaliers victory, he also has friends on the Golden State side of things. He is friends with Steve Kerr, Golden State’s head coach, as well as Steph Curry.
