A new study says more than three quarters of all workers use social media at work regardless of any rules put in place by their employers. 34% of those using social media admitted to needing a mental break.
The rise in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram costs U.S. companies billions of dollars in productivity each year. But researchers say social networking platforms are providing workers with new ways to learn job-related skills, new ways for them to socialize and a break from the office grind.
