Woman Wanted For Murder In Salisbury Arrested

Salisbury Police say Sindy Abbitt has been arrested.

Officials say Abbitt turned herself Thursday morning and was placed in the RC Detention Center under no bond. Her first appearance will be Friday, June 24th.


 

SALISBURY, NC — Salisbury Police are looking for the woman they say murdered a woman in her home and injured another.Abbitt

Police say the incident happened on May 24th at 325 Crown Point Plaza in Salisbury. 33-year-old Sindy Abbitt of Salisbury reportedly broke into the home, and then shot and killed 38-year-old Lacynda Feimster.

Another victim inside the home was also injured and taken to Novant Health Regional Medical Center. That person was treated and released.

Sindy Abbitt is wanted on charges for First Degree Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
