ROCK HILL, S.C. — John Perry Jr., 46, was identified as the suspect of a Rock Hill Police Department officer involved shooting.
Perry was arrested in Fairfield County, South Carolina, on Friday afternoon. Perry suffered a graze wound to his side during the confrontation and was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
Perry has been charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Pistol by a Person Prohibited, and Possession of a Firearm during a Crime of Violence.
This continues to be an ongoing investigation by both SLED and the Rock Hill Police Department, and no further information is available at this time.
