This Friday and Saturday, Lincoln County Animal Services will be holding a “Free the Cats and Dogs” event hosted by H.A.T.S., featuring special adoption rates for both groups of animals. At this time of year the LCAS is ether at or near full capacity with its cats and kitten. There will also be plenty of dogs as well. With state mandated rules as to how many animals the shelter can keep at one time, the LCAS is striving for a 90% live release but can only do it with help from the general public.
