Miss Teen USA Does Away With Swimsuits
Organizers with Miss Teen USA say they want the competition to be less exploitative and more focused on the importance of physical fitness for its younger participants. So they’ve done away with the swimsuit portion of the competition.
The change is meant to celebrate ‘women’s strength, confidence and beauty’ in different, more constructive ways.
