Charlotte, NC — CMPD needs your help finding a hit and run driver who hit a pedestrian in Southwest Charlotte. Investigators tell WCCB the victim was walking along S. Tryon Street and Sandy Porter Road around 10:30 Thursday night when the car hit them. Police are not saying who the victim is but the person does have life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for a 4-door burgundy sedan, possibly a Honda Civic. The headlights and maybe the windshield are damaged. Call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600 if you have any information.
