Car Crashes Into West Charlotte Business Following Shooting

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for several suspects after a car crashed into a building in west Charlotte following a shooting.

Police say two cars were shooting at one another while driving on Wilkinson Boulevard early Monday morning. One of the cars, a black BMW, then crashed into the Eastway Wrecker Services building.

Witnesses say three or four people were seen running away from the wrecked BMW on foot. Police say a gun was found in the back seat.

Another white vehicle was involved was also seen fleeing the scene.
