CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say one person has died after a double shooting Monday morning in south Charlotte.
Police say two people were shot on Wheatley Avenue around 1:30am Monday. The victims then drove themselves to Novant Presbyterian Hospital and crashed into the emergency room entrance.
One of the victims, 19-year-old Markas Vereen, was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Officials are still investigating.
