Police Searching for Suspect of Armed Robbery

LANCASTER, S.C — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Lancaster grocery store at gunpoint.

Deputies were dispatched to North Corner Grocery at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The employee at the register told deputies the robber entered the store from produced a pistol, and told her to open the register. The robber then took money from the register and left.

Surveillance footage shows the robber driving a dark colored mid- to late-90s Ford Expedition.

The robber is described as a black male, approximately 6’1’’ to 6’5” tall, and weighing between 220 and 250 pounds. He was wearing dark pants, a white T- shirt, sunglasses, and a dark colored Atlanta Braves ball cap.
