HICKORY, N.C. — Police say a man has been arrested for making over 400 bomb threats that were determined to be hoaxes.
The bomb threats were reported in Burke, Catawba and Caldwell Counties. Several law enforcement agencies have been working together to catch the suspect.
Cody Startt, 27, was arrested on July 6th in Matoaka, West Virigina by the Hickory Police Department, the FBI and West Virginia State Police.
He has been charged with felony probation violation and making bomb threats. Startt is being held with no bond and is awaiting extradition to Catawba County.
