Social media reacts after former President George W. Bush dances at the Dallas memorial service. Many say the former President appeared too cheerful when he started swaying and swinging his arms during a performance of the “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

He was holding hands with his wife Laura and First Lady Michelle Obama. The former First Family and the Obamas were in Dallas for a vigil honoring the five police officers killed by a sniper last week. A Bush spokesman says the 43rd President was simply “moved” by the “triumphant” song.

Do you think George W. Bush’s actions at the Dallas memorial were appropriate?
