Man Dies After Being Stabbed In North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating a homicide in north Charlotte after a man died from stab wounds early Friday morning.

Police say the call came in around 6:10am Friday after a man was stabbed at Trojan Labor on Statesville Road near Burch Drive. Medic transported a man to CMC for treatment, but he was later pronounced dead. His name has not yet been released.

Investigators say there was an argument between the victim and suspect that led to the stabbing.
