IKEA Is Recalling 80,000 Baby Gates

Ikea customers will be able to return the gates for a full refund.

Swedish ready-to-assemble furniture company, Ikea, is recalling 80,000 baby gates and pulling them from their stores.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission released a statement saying that the gates can unlock by themselves, which can ultimately lead to falls.

The CPSC has confirmed ten injuries have been reported so far – including two concussions.

The following gates are recalled from the furniture company:

The Patrull Safety Gate and Extension

The Patrull Fast Safety Gate

The Patrull Klamma Safety Gate and Extension

Ikea has advised that customers stop using these baby gates and will be able to return the gates for a full refund.
