CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — If you want to go to Panthers Fan-Fest at Bank of America Stadium on August 5th, you have to plan ahead.
The Carolina Panthers announced that fans will need to reserve a ticket for entry. Last year’s fan-fest in Charlotte had ‘overwhelming demand’ and the team is trying to get ahead of the event for general precautions for fan safety. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning July 22 at 10 a.m. by clicking “Fan Fest Tickets” in Hot Topics on the homepage of Panthers.com or by choosing “Fan Fest” in the Tickets dropdown menu. Tickets are limited to six per household and can be printed at home starting August 1.
It will be the Carolina Panthers first appearance at Bank of America Stadium since winning the NFC Championship.
The gates will open at 6pm, practice begins at 7:30 and a concert and laser show will conclude the night at 9pm.
Fans in attendance will receive a 2016 team roster photo card with a 2016 schedule as well as a gate giveaway. Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. with performances by the TopCats, Sir Purr, PurrCussion and Black & Blue Crew. Practice begins at 7:30 p.m. and will include individual drills as well as seven-on-seven, special teams and team periods. The event will be capped with a concert by Sol Fusion, and spectacular fireworks and laser show.
Transparent, plastic, vinyl or PVC bags smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ will be allowed after inspection.
