MOORESVILLE, N.C. β Mooresville Police responded to a call of aΒ pedestrian struck while crossing Williamson Road on Wednesday.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Upon arrival, members ofΒ Mooresville Police and Mooresville Fire-Rescue located Jeffrey Archer, 52, in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Claydon Turner, 30, has been charged with felony death by motorΒ vehicle and DWI.
The incident is under investigation by Mooresville Police Department.
