MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Mooresville Police responded to a call of a pedestrian struck while crossing Williamson Road on Wednesday.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Upon arrival, members of Mooresville Police and Mooresville Fire-Rescue located Jeffrey Archer, 52, in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Claydon Turner, 30, has been charged with felony death by motor vehicle and DWI.
The incident is under investigation by Mooresville Police Department.
