WANTED: James Abernathy

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Detectives have identified & obtained warrants for Armed Robbery on James Abernathy, 24.

On July 18th, Abernathy stole a drill from the Lowe’s home improvement store located at 5288 Highway 557 in Clover, South Carolina. Abernathy was carrying what appears to be a silver revolver in a holster on his hip. As he passed the register, Abernathy lifted his shirt to show the revolver and unsnapped the holster. He then left the area in a Toyota mini-van.

Detectives believe James Abernathy is possibly in the Clover, Lake Wylie, or Gaston County areas.
