Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan says he can ‘no longer stay silent’ on the country’s growing racial and social unrest.’

In a letter released to the website ‘The Undefeated,’  Jordan said he is troubled by the deaths of African-Americans by law enforcement, and angered by the hateful killing of police officers.

He will make separate one million dollar donations to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund — as well as the Institute for Community-Police Relations.
