Emergency officials are seeing an increase in heat related illnesses due to the recent high temperatures in the Charlotte area.
The York County Coroner’s Office says a man died from heat exposure Monday. Β Ronnie Moore was found unresponsive on the side of the road. Β He reportedly had an excessive temperature and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Headache
- Excessive thirst
- Muscle aches and cramps
- Weakness
- Confusion or anxiety
- Drenching sweats, often accompanied by cold, clammy skin
- Slowed or weakened heartbeat
- Dizziness
- Fainting
- Agitation
