Fanfest Introduces Many Fans To The Panthers’ New Stadium Security

CHARLOTTE, NC– Many Panthers fans walked in the rain not concerned about getting wet, others came prepared with their ponchos, for some families it meant taking a spare umbrella from the car that would have to get left behind.

“Yeah, we didn’t expect this. We drove down from Raleigh so we just got here and was quite surprised,” said Lorenda Peterson.

No strollers inside also meant families had to plan ahead. Some families didn’t check the rules ahead of time and got stopped before going through the new metal detectors.

Going through the metal detectors seem to go smoothly, and for the most part fan saying they appreciate the tighter security.

“I think it’s a great idea with everything going on in the world, perfect, all for it all for it!”

Only other issue was the fact that the free tickets sold out leaving many fans hoping for an extra one without having to pay.

“A lot of people are selling they they get premium prices for them $100, $50 whatever the fans just want to come out and support the Panthers.”
