Police Are Looking For Two Suspects That Shot And Kidnapped A Man Early Sunday Morning

Two suspects are still at large after officials say they kidnapped a man and forced him to drive to the Seven-Eleven on Brookshire Boulevard.

CHARLOTTE, N.C – CMPD is looking for two suspects involved in an early morning shooting and kidnapping incident that began on Montcrest Drive in South Charlotte shortly before 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Detectives say a man was approached by two unknown suspects on Montcrest Drive in the Steele Creek area when the two suspects kidnapped the victim by forcing him into his own vehicle that he had been driving.

Officials say the suspects forced the victim to drive to the Seven-Eleven on Brookshire Boulevard when the suspects then shot the victim while inside the vehicle and dropped him off.

CMPD says the suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

The victim was transported to CMC after being shot. He is expected to have non-life threatening injuries.

The stolen vehicle is a silver 2008 Hyundai Elantra displaying a North Carolina Registration Plate of PCC-1318.
