Church To Take Stand In Support Of HB2
CHARLOTTE, NC– A church is taking a stand for House Bill 2, throwing their support behind the controversial legislation. The Church of God in Christ which has over 82 churches worldwide, is planning to bring their annual International Aim Convention to the Queen City next July.
Bishop Patrick Lane Wooden Senior spoke outside Time Warner Cable Arena today, hailing the law that many call discriminatory against the LGBT community.
“Ever since they’re have been public bathrooms on earth, males went to one and females went to another. There’s nothing hateful about that, it’s just the right thing to do,” said Wooden.
The biggest cancellation over the controversial law came last month when the NBA decided to pull the 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte.
