The York County Coroner has identified the victim in Monday’s shooting as 28-year-old Antonio Nichols.
Officials say this is being investigated as a homicide.
YORK CO., SC– One person is dead after a double shooting in York County. Another person is hurt.
It happened at this home on Mighty Joe Trail in York. That’s in the Green Acres neighborhood.
One person is in custody tonight. York Police are searching for a second suspect.
A neighbor who didn’t want to show her face on camera says she was never worried about crime where she lives, until now.
“Of course I’m concerned; I live here. My mother lives here. She’s elderly. So yes I’m concerned.”
Investigators say they plan to release more details on the shooting sometime tomorrow.
