Police Searching For Attempted Robbery Suspect

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for an attempted robbery suspect in east Charlotte.

Investigators say a man entered the Sam’s Mart on The Plaza Road near East 36th Street armed with a gun and attempted to rob the business.

Detectives say the suspect left the store before taking any property.  He is described as a black male with a thin build.  He was last seen wearing a reflective vest over a button up shirt and a flat-billed Hornets hat.
