Rock Hill Police Looking For Purse Snatching Suspect
ROCK HILL, SC — Police are looking for the suspect they say stole a worker’s purse from a medical facility on Friday afternoon.
Officials say the incident happened at a medical facility at 1656 Riverchase Boulevard around 5:30pm Friday. The worker says her checkbook holder, which contained credit cards, checks, identification cards, etc., was stolen from her workstation cabinet while she was moving a patient. The worker initially noticed the suspect in a restricted area, and again leaving her workstation when she was returning.
When the worker checked her cabinet she noticed her purse had been moved and the contents were missing.
After being told about the theft, security said they saw the suspect leaving in a hurry and said she may have gotten into a black SUV waiting in front of the office.
Surveillance captured images of the suspect. She is described as a black female, heavy set, mid-50s, short hair, wearing a blue dress with silver sandals.
