Charlotte, NC — A new Texas High School’s football stadium just might be the most expensive ever built in the United States. The price tag for the stadium at Texas McKinney Independent School district is nearly $70 million dollars. Rising construction costs are blamed for the high price. The school district is one of the fastest-growing in Texas. The stadium will hostΒ three high schools and soccer and lacrosse teams. The stadium is scheduled for completion in fall 2017.
