Police: Father Arrested After Bathroom Brawl With Son

ROCK HILL, SC — Police have arrested a father they say got into a bathroom brawl with his teenage son Monday after refusing to take him to school.

34-year-old Bradley Humbarger was arrested Monday and charged with Unlawful Conduct Towards a Child after he hit his son in the face multiple times in the bathroom during an argument, according to a report.

Officials say the incident happened around 12:45pm at Humbarger’s home on Mt. Gallant Road. When officers arrived they say they found Humbarger’s 13-year-old son in the driveway with a bloody nose, mouth, and shirt. When officers entered the home they also found blood splattered in the bathroom mostly on and around the toilet area.

Humbarger told police he didn’t take his son to school because he kept using a racial slur, but Humbarger’s son claims his father was too drunk.

Humbarger was placed under arrest and his son was treated by EMS for his injuries. The son has been released into the care of his grandmother, Ana Humbarger.
