Rock Hill Church Vandalized

ROCK HILL, SC– Members of a church in Rock Hill had to rip up part of the floor after vandals left piles of human waste inside a computer room.

Police were called to Redeeming Life Christian Center on South Jones Avenue around 10 on Monday morning.

Bishop Eric Gailliard says the burglars also destroyed a cash register and took about 20 bucks.

He feels bad for whoever did this.

“What type of a person would do something like this? And, what kind of hurt, what are they going through? I want to just tell them they’re forgiven,” said Bishop Gailliard.

The thief left a knife and bicycle behind which police dusted for fingerprints.

Back in 1954 the church building was the first integrated school in South Carolina.
