Two Charged In Fatal Pineville-Matthews Road Double Shooting Case
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have arrested and charged Jalen Anderson, 23, and Jerron Anderson, 24, in Monday’s fatal double shooting on Pineville-Matthews Road near Baybrook Lane.
The incident happened just before 3am Monday. Police originally responded to a single car accident, but found two women with gunshot wounds inside the car when they arrived.
According to officials, the driver of the car, Mary Tarr, 20, was pronounced dead on the scene by Medic. The second victim, Tiffany Wallace, was taken to CMC with serious injuries.
Investigators identified Jalen Anderson as the primary suspect. They say Jalen was in a relationship with both women. Warrants were issued for his arrest Monday afternoon, and he was arrested without incident.
Jalen has been charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, and Discharging a Firearm into Occupied Property Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury.
On Wednesday evening police say a second suspect identified in the case, Jerron Anderson, turned himself in. After an interview with investigators he was also charged with Murder and Attempted Murder.
