SWAT Situation In West Charlotte, Suspect In Custody

[UPDATE]

Police have arrested the man they say was barricaded inside of his west Charlotte home.

He was taken out of the home in cuffs. Police have not said what he is charged with or who he is.

Police were also seen taking a child out of the home after the situation was over.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A SWAT situation is underway in west Charlotte at Reid Avenue and West Boulevard.

Police have not released much information. Officials on scene say they are in negotiations with a man who has violent warrants.
