Mineral Springs Man Cleared In Fatal Shooting Of Burglary Suspect
MINERAL SPRINGS, N.C. — The Mineral Springs homeowner who shot and killed a burglary suspect will not face criminal charges.
Investigators say the homeowner shot and killed 17-year-old Marquies Waters early Monday morning. Β Waters, along with Jacob Maye and Tristen Deese, are accused of breaking into the home on Happy Hollow Lane.
The DA’s Office says the homeowner did not violate state law. Β Maye and Deese are both facing burglary and felony conspiracy charges for their involvement in this incident.
