Social Media Threat Made Against Local School Being Investigated
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Extra security was on-hand at a local school after a social media threat. The principal at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology sent a message to parents saying a threat was made on social media Tuesday evening.
Extra security was brought to the campus as a precaution. CMS Police determined the threat was not credible but the person responsible was quickly apprehended and will be fully disciplined in accordance with the Student Code Of Conduct, according to a statement.
