Indian Trail Man Charged In Home Invasion

INDIAN TRIAL, N.C. — Investigators say an Indian Trail man has been charged with a series of crimes related to a home invasion.

Deputies responded to a home on Thursday afternoon in the Villages of Wesley Chapel neighborhood after a woman reported that she was asleep in her bedroom when she was awakened by a man wearing a mask.

The male suspect allegedly assaulted her and removed items from her home, including firearms.  The victim then told police a female suspect was with the male and the pair fled the residence in her vehicle.

Deputies located the victim’s vehicle a short distance away.  The suspect, Tyler Greco, was identified by the victim.  He has been charged with second degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault by pointing a gun, assault inflicting injury, breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm and motor vehicle theft.

The investigation is ongoing and deputies are working to identify the female suspect involved in this matter.
