Two Broncos Players Fined For Hits On Panthers’ Cam Newton

DENVER, C.O. — Denver Broncos safety Darian Stewart and linebacker Brandon Marshall have been fined by the NFL for hits on Panthers’ Cam Newton in Week 1, according to media reports.

Stewart has been filed $18,231 and Marshall has been fined $24, 309.  Newton took numerous shots to the head during the Thursday night game.

Many people took to social media to express their opinions on the NFL and player safety.

The NFL is reportedly reviewing hits on Newton by both Von Miller and Bradley Roby as well.
