I-77 North At Exit 88 Reopen After Being Shutdown Friday Morning

Update: 6:30am – I-77 NB has been reopened, but drivers should still expect a little residual backups in the area following this morning’s closure.

Update: 6:08am – Left two lanes are open, the right two lanes are still closed. The alternates are fill with traffic, I-77 is now moving faster than the alternate routes.

Update: 5:55am – They are reopening I-77 at mile marker 89. Left lane is open and they are about to the other three lanes.
*Allow yourself an extra 8-10 minutes.

Update: 5:48am – The accident is in the final clearing stages but this will continue to back up for a while.
