Suspect In Custody After SWAT Standoff In East Charlotte

Police say the suspect in Friday morning’s SWAT standoff has been arrested.

E. WT Harris at Milton Road has been reopened.

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD says E. WT Harris Boulevard at Milton Road has been closed off due to a SWAT standoff in the area.

Officials say the suspect is barricaded in.
