Police Need Help Locating Missing Teenager

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need help locating a missing teenager.  Ayanna Hatcher was reported missing just before 9pm on September 15th.

Hatcher was last seen on foot in the area of Faulconbridge Road.  At that time, police say she was wearing an orange/red colored scarf wrapped around her hair in a bun, a black tank top, beige leggings with black tribal print and carrying a pink colored backpack.

On September 24th, Hatcher was observed walking alone near East 7th Street at N. McDowell Street wearing red denim shorts and a multicolored shirt.  Hatcher has been diagnosed with a cognitive issue and there is some concern for her safety and wellbeing.

Anyone with information on Hatcher’s whereabouts isa asked to call 911 immediately.
