LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Investigators say a Lincoln County man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a young child.
Detectives say they received a call that Michael Simons, 35, of Lincolnton had assaulted a young girl on August 23rd. Following an investigation, warrants were issued for Simons on September 23rd.
He was arrested on one felony count of indecent liberties with a child. He was released on a $7,500 secured bond.
