CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has arrested the man they say robbed the State Employees Credit Union at gunpoint Thursday morning.
Officials have charged 35-year-old Quinton Dozier with the armed robbery of the SECU on University City Boulevard just before 10am yesterday.
Police say Dozier entered the bank with a gun and demanded money from several employees before fleeing the scene.
A short time later officers received a call about a vehicle break-in on North Tryon Street near E. W.T. Harris. When they arrived they found the suspect, Dozier, who matched the description of the bank robber, according to reports.
Dozier was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and was served four additional warrants for unrelated drug charges.
