HICKORY, N.C. — Police say they arrested a man for stabbing his roommate to death early Sunday morning.
Investigators say they were called to a civil disturbance between Kester Hewitt and Arthur Robinson at their home on 8th Avenue Drive SE. Once officers arrived on the scene they were unable to locate Robinson.
Police were called back to the home for an additional domestic situation just before 5am at which time they found Hewitt dead from an apparent stab wound.
Robinson was reportedly outside the residence and was arrested for murder, according to police. He is currently being held under no bond.
