CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC — Troopers are investigating after a head on collision near Shelby left two people dead.
Officials say a car crossed the center line on Highway 150, about 4 miles north of Shelby, around 6pm Wednesday. Both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene.
The victims’ names have not yet been released, and troopers have not said what may have led to the crash.
