Pence Makes Campaign Stop In Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC– Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence quickly addressed controversial comments at a town hall this afternoon in NODA.
It was pence’s first campaign appearance since video of Trump making lewd comments was released.
Pence told a crowd of hundreds that he couldn’t condone Trump’s comments, but his Christian faith compelled him to forgive Trump after he showed remorse at last nights debate.
“He showed humility to the american people. And then he fought back and turned the focus to the choice that we face and I’m proud to stand with Donald Trump.”
While in the area, Pence stopped at Tony’s Ice Cream in Gastonia where he spoke with supporters before heading to another rally near Asheville.
