Panthers Help NC, SC High School Athletic Programs Impacted By Hurricane Matthew

CHARLOTTE, NC — On Wednesday the Carolina Panthers announced a grant fund that has been established to help high school athletic programs in North and South Carolina impacted by Hurricane Matthew.

Carolina Panthers Charities has put together $250,000 in grant funding that will help high school’s replace or repair equipment, supplies or athletic infrastructure damaged by Hurricane Matthew.

Officials say high schools can apply for the grant funding anytime between now and November 11th. Carolina Panthers Charities will work with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and South Carolina High School League and other partnership agencies to distribute grant applications to member schools. Schools may also download the application at panthers.com/community.

Carolina Panthers Charities provided $250,000 in grant funding in October 2015 to help 19 high schools in South Carolina that were impacted by floods.
