Gov. McCrory Tours Goldsboro & Kinston With Emergency & Local Officials

RALEIGH, NC – Governor Pat McCrory, along with local officials and emergency responders, toured Goldsboro and Kinston Thursday where officials say the Neuse River is expected to crest near record levels Friday.

“I just want to commend this incredible teamwork that we’ve had in both Goldsboro and Lenoir County. All I’m hearing is praise about the cooperation between the city and county, churches, The Salvation Army, Red Cross and the National Guard,” said Governor McCrory. “I’ve never seen such teamwork and resilence and compassion of people in Goldsboro and Kinston today.”
